Limestone welcomes international students into its secondary school program, which spans from Grade 9 (age 14) to Grade 12 (age 18), and leads to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Study options include single semester (five months), full academic year (September to June) and multi-year enrollment for students aiming to graduate and continue to post-secondary studies in Canada.
International students are integrated into classes amongst mainstream Canadian students, which encourages the development of their English language competency and exposes them to the academic expectations of the Ontario public education system.
Limestone schools run on a semester system. Students normally take four courses (credits) per day each semester. The school day begins at 8:30 a.m. and finishes at 2:30 p.m.
